City tour of Kiev and a visit to Pirogovo museum – The Pirogovo Museum of Architecture and Family Lifeis an architecture and landscape complex in the open air, where all the historical and ethnographical regions of Ukraine are represented.
Lunch.
Drive to Poltava.
Check-in to a hotel.

Day 3
Breakfast in the hotel. City tour of Poltava.
Poltava - one of the most beautiful parts of Ukraine. It is especially beautiful at the time of the blooming flowering gardens. The Poltava region is proud of its historic sites and it invites willingly all guests. An excursion trip to Poltava: the center area with the buildings of government offices, The Ivanova Mountain. A visit to the historical-cultural reserve “The Field of Poltava Battle”- dedicated to the decisive event of the Northern War of 1700-1721. Many invaluable historical relics are stored in the Battle of Poltava Museum.
Lunch.
a visit to the Cross Monastery.
Excursion to the field of The Battle of
Poltava.
The Battle of Poltava - the biggest battle of the Great Northern War – took place on June 27th1709. It was a battle between two big powers – the Russian army of Peter The Great and the Swedish army led by Charles XII. Charles XII of Sweden suffered a crushing defeat: during the battle nearly 10 000 men were killed and 3 000 Swedish soldiers were taken as prisoners. The remains of the Swedish army surrendered.

Day 4
Breakfast.
Trip to Oposhnya.
A stop near the reconstructed fort. A stop near the monument to the Swedes dedicated to the battle of Poltava.
A visit to the Ukrainian pottery Museum. An opportunity to buy souvenirs.
Oposhnya at a first glance – a town like so many in Ukraine: some market places, a small church and some domestic animals there on the streets.
But it is only the first glance.
On this location the celebrated masters of pottery have lived and worked for centuries. Many pages of the book of being a Ukrainian have been written here.
Departure to the Veliki Budishev village.
A visit to the Museum of Ukrainian wedding with a theatrical performance.
A horse sleigh ride to the cafe, where: a small lunch and continued theatricals.
Drive back to Poltava. With a stop in Dikanka.
Stay in Poltava.
Day 5
Breakfast.
Check-out from the Hotel.
Departure to the Borispil airport.
End of service.
