Day 1

Arrival to Kiev Borispol airport. Meeting and transfer to a centrally located hotel 3 star.

Check-in.

Welcome dinner in Ukrainian restaurant.

Free time.

Stay in Kiev.

Day 2

Breakfast in the hotel.

Today our tour starts with short ride to Old Town of this ancient city. En route we’ll see University, Taras Schevchenko Opera & Ballet Theater, the historic main gateway into the ancient city Golden Gate, newly renovated Michael’s Cathedral & visit St. Sophia Cathedral, the city’s oldest standing church, that was built in 1017-31 in honor of Prince Yaroslav’s victory over a rival tribe; Andreevskiy descent, Andreesvkaya church.

Lunch.

After lunch the tour continues to Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Monastery.

Back to the hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast in the hotel.

Drive to Pirogovo museum

The Pirogovo Museum of Architecture and Family Life is an architecture and landscape complex in the open air, where all the historical and ethnographical regions of Ukraine are represented.

 Back to Kiev, a visit to Memorial complex Motherland and a visit to WWII museum.

Lunch.

Boat trip along Dnipro river – optional.

Back to the hotel.

Day 4

Breakfast in the hotel.

Check-out.

Drive to Odessa with sightseeing on the way:

Sofievskiy Park in Uman: one of the most beautiful places, created by human hand (lunch in Uman);

Museum of missiles forces in Pobygskoe village: history of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile base of ICBM silo launcher in Pervomaisk in a pavillion with many exibits; sightseeing of the premices of the base including passage through 150 meters long underground corridor; take a lift 12 floors down to the bottom of the Unified Launch Control Center etc.

Arrival to Odessa, check-in to a centrally located hotel 3 star.

Day 5

Breakfast in the hotel.

City tour of Odessa:

During the tour you will have an opportunity to visit historical places, take a walk through age-old streets: Deribasovskaya, Pushkinskaya, Rishelievskaya and Landzheronovskaya. You will see masterpieces of architecture and art of buildings – Opera and Ballet Theatre, and also historical buildings. Strolling along the Primorsky Boulvard it’s a chance to see an ancient building of municipal Duma, count Vorontsov palace, the monument to Duke de Richelieu and the famous Potemkin stairs.

Stay in Odessa.

Day 6

After breakfast drive to Belgorod-Dnestrovskiy city and a visit to ancient fortress, which is well-known from movie about musketry. These days Belgorod-Dnestrovskiy is included in the top 10 of the ancients cities in the world!

Lunch in the local cafe. Drive back to Odessa. Tour to Palaces of Odessa (Palace of Tolstoy and Pototzkiy) and a short tour to catacombs.

Back to the hotel.

Day 7

Breakfast, check-out. Drive to Chisinau, Moldova, with a stop in Tiraspol. Sightseeing in Tiraspol – Back in USSR: Feel the atmosphere of this disputed territory which always has been a battlefield between the major powers of the region. The buildings of the Soviets, the monument of Suvorov and Vladimir Ilich Lenin. The city seems to be behind the times. At the same time, it is full of contrasts. One of them is the football complex “Sheriff” – a remarkable impressive building, a pearl of the modern architecture, etc

Lunch in Tiraspol.

Drive to Chisinau. Check-in to a centrally located hotel 3 star.

Day 8

After breakfast – city tour of Chisinau:

Guided tour will show both the historic and the modern faces of Chisinau. On Stephen the Great Boulevard are many administrative buildings like the Presidency, the Parliament, and the City Administration. There are cultural centers such as the National Theatre M. Eminescu, the Organ Hall, Theatre of Opera and Ballet. In the historical zone there are more than 700 houses from the 19th century arranged in Estates. There are more than eighteen old churches and the main Cathedral.

Lunch. After lunch tour the Cricova Winery, Moldova ‘s premier winery and one of Europe ‘s biggest. Sample wine which is internationally acclaimed.
Wine tasting 4 types of wine.

Day 9

After breakfast excursion to Orhei Vechi situated in a picturesque setting. You will have the opportunity to visit the most interesting archaeological site housing the ruins of two cities (14th -16th century). Tartars settled here on their expansion to Western Europe. Continue with a visit to the well-maintained Orthodox cave monastery called St. Maria Dormata which was expanded and modified inside the cliffs by monks over the centuries. Christian churches provide magnificent scenery through the windows of the monastery which still functions today.

National food and wine at agro pension Casa din Lunca.

Day 10

Breakfast, check-out.

Departure to Romania. Driving via Bacau to Brasov, over the Carpathian Mountains to Transylvania.

Romania’s collection of castles and fortresses perhaps best illustrates the rich medieval heritage of the country. While castles built from the 14th to the 18th centuries are strong and austere fortresses built mainly for defense against invaders, those erected beginning in the late 1800s are imposing and luxurious. As a result of almost nine centuries of Saxon presence, Transylvania, located in central Romania, claims a cultural and architectural heritage unique in Europe.

Visit the Fortress Church in Prejmer (UNESCO Heritage) – The largest fortified church in southeastern Europe.

Stay in Brasov.

Day 11

Breakfast in the hotel. City tour of medieval city Brasov.

Brasov is the most interesting place in Romania and one of the oldest city in Europe, dating from 1235. During the Middle Ages, Brasov was known as a

powerful fortress surrounded by high stone walls and defended by bulwarks, towers and other small fortresses. The buildings and the streets in the historical centre still preserve a medieval note. You can admire the bastions, gates and the old walls of the Citadel, the famous Black Church, the biggest Gothic style building in Romania or the oldest Orthodox church in Brasov – St. Nicolae Church part of UNESCO patrimony; ; the eaver’s Bastion – the biggest and best preserved bastion.

Day 12

Breakfast in the hotel.

Drive to Biertan via Sighisoara

Visit the Fortress Church in Biertan(UNESCO Heritage).

The village of Biertan, is home to one of the largest and most impressive medieval strongholds in Transylvania.

Surrounded by quaint streets and vineyards, the 15th century fortified church at Biertan is perched high on a hill in the middle of the village. Three tiers of 35-foot-high defensive walls, connected by towers and gates, encircled the complex, making the church impossible to conquer during medieval times.

City tour Sighisoara (UNESCO Heritage).

Documentary attested in 1280 on the valley of the Mures river, these city was built by the same saxon colonists which was brought here by the hungarian crown. The city was grown as economic importance and cultural too, and in to the XV-een century we have here a place famous in all Europe for these economic and cultural life.

Vlad Dracul a son of one of the most important and the father of Vlad the Impaler known all over the world as Dracula was settled here for 3 years.

Visit Dracula Castle in Bran.

Driving to Poiana Brasov.

Dinner at a restaurant with live folklor music in Poiana Brasov.

Transfer to the hotel.

Stay in Brasov.

Day 13

Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out.

Drive to to Sinaia: excursion to Peles Castle and Sinaia Monastery.

Drive to Bucharest.

City tour Bucharest: excursion to Palace of Parlament and the Village Museum.

Transfer to the airport.
