Day 1

Arrival to Kiev Borispol airport. Meeting and transfer to a centrally located hotel 3 star.

Check-in.

Welcome dinner in Ukrainian restaurant.

Free time.

Stay in Kiev.

Day 2

Breakfast in the hotel.

Today our tour starts with short ride to Old Town of this ancient city. En route we’ll see University, Taras Schevchenko Opera & Ballet Theater, the historic main gateway into the ancient city Golden Gate, newly renovated Michael’s Cathedral & visit St. Sophia Cathedral, the city’s oldest standing church, that was built in 1017-31 in honor of Prince Yaroslav’s victory over a rival tribe; Andreevskiy descent, Andreesvkaya church.

Lunch.

After lunch the tour continues to Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Monastery.

Back to the hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast in the hotel.

Tour to Chernobyl museum; WWII museum and Motherland statue.

Tour to Pirogovo museum – an architecture and landscape complex in the open air, where all the historical and ethnographical regions of Ukraine are represented.

Lunch.

Day 4

Breakfast in the hotel.

Check-out.

Drive to Odessa with sightseeing on the way:

- Sofievskiy Park in Uman: one of the most beautiful places, created by human hand (lunch in Uman);

- Museum of missiles forces in Pobygskoe village: history of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile base of ICBM silo launcher in Pervomaisk in a pavillion with many exibits; sightseeing of the premices of the base including passage through 150 meters long underground corridor; take a lift 12 floors down to the bottom of the Unified Launch Control Center etc.

Arrival to Odessa, check-in to a centrally located hotel 3 star.

Day 5

Breakfast in the hotel.

City tour of Odessa:

During the tour you will have an opportunity to visit historical places, take a walk through age-old streets: Deribasovskaya, Pushkinskaya, Rishelievskaya and Landzheronovskaya. You will see masterpieces of architecture and art of buildings – Opera and Ballet Theatre, and also historical buildings. Strolling along the Primorsky Boulvard it’s a chance to see an ancient building of municipal Duma, count Vorontsov palace, the monument to Duke de Richelieu and the famous Potemkin stairs.

Lunch.

Tour to Odessa’s catacombs. (20 km from the center of Odessa) During the tour you’ll find out the way how the city was built, you’ll see huge and amazing underground labyrinth (total length of catacombs is 2500 km).

Day 6

Breakfast in the hotel.

08:00-19:00

A trip to Belgorod-Dnestrovskiy city (about 90 km from Odessa) and a visit to ancient fortress, which is well-known from movie about musketry. These days Belgorod- Dnestrovskiy is included in the top 10 of the ancients cities in the world! (Duration about 1- 1,5 hours)

Drive to Vilkovo village (140 km) – Ukrainian Venice – and to Danube Delta.

During the tour you’ll see the old part of the village with small channels (eriki) and wooden boats – the only one transport people can use there; you’ll see 0 km – the spot where

Danube river flows into the Black Sea (tour by boat) and you’ll have lunch in a small local café on the bank of the river.

Day 7

Flight to Tbilisi via Kiev.

Arrival, meeting and transfer to a centrally located hotel 4 star.

Stay in Tbilisi.

Day 8

City tour in general. Tbilisi is the ancient capital of Georgia, During the tour you’ll see:

- Old Tbilisi and Sulfur Baths - Foundation of Tbilisi is related to Tbilisi Sulphur baths. According to the legend, King Vakhtang Gorgasali discovered these sulphur baths while hunting. So the name Tbilisi derives from Georgian word “Tbili”, meaning warm.

- Narikala fortress - It’s built in 4th century. It was occupied by Iranian, North Caucasian and Byzantine, Arab conquerors in various periods of time. Nowadays Church of St. Nikoloz built in 13th century is now located within the castle.

- Metekhi Church - It was first built in 5th century when Vakhtang Gorgasali was the king of Kartli. There are breathtaking views of Old Tbilisi from the church.

- Trinity Church -is the biggest cathedral not only in Georgia, but also in whole Caucasus region.

- Tbilisi National Museum -Lots of specimen of cultural heritage of Georgia are kept in the museum. One of the most amazing exhibits are the prehistoric human remains/skulls found in Dmanisi region.

Day 9

Breakfast in the hotel.

A visit to Gori – Stalin museum and to Uplis Tsihe – ancient cave town.

Day 10

Breakfast in the hotel.

Drive to Mtsheta – ancient capital of Georgia. Nowadays it’s a village. A visit to Svetitshobeli Cathedral and Bebritsihe fortress.

Lunch.

Drive to Stepantsminda (Kazbeg). Lunch in a local café in the mountains. The way goes along military-Georgian road – you’ll see fantastic views! A tour to St. Troitsa Cathedral.

Check-in to a centrally located hotel 4 star.

Stay in Stepantsminda.

Day 11

Breakfast in the hotel.

Check-out.

Drive back to Tbilisi with a stop in Gudauri.

Check in to a centrally located hotel 4 star.

Stay in Tbilisi.

Day 12

Breakfast in the hotel.

A visit to Kahetiya:

- Signahi – ancient Georgian town with a fascinating view to Alazanskaya valley;

- Wine museum. You’ll find out about the way wine is produced in Georgia.

Lunch.

- A visit to Gremi and Alaverdi fortresses.

In the evening – farewell dinner in traditional Georgia restaurant.

Stay in Tbilisi.

Day 13

Breakfast in the hotel.

Check-out.

Transfer to the airport (depends on flight time)
