Arrival at Minsk airport
Meeting each traveler who arrives at this day.

Welcome dinner in Ukrainian restaurant – it’s time for getting to know each other, discussing the program of the next days in Ukraine that will be spent together!

Day2

Minsk Sightseeing
Breakfast.

After a good breakfast it’s time to tour the city!
Touring Minsk – the Independence Square with the House of Government and “Red” Roman Catholic Church;
Victory Square with its 38 meter Obelisk and the Eternal Flame honoring the heroes of World War II.

Back to the hotel.
And now you have some free time to have a rest.

Day3

Minsk – Mir – Brest
Breakfast.
Check out and drive to the open-air museum of folk architecture.
Then continue to Mir Castle Complex (UNESCO site).
Then driving to Brest for overnight.
Stay in Brest.
 

Day4

Brest Sightseeing – Lviv
Early breakfast.

Exploring Brest and visiting the vast Brest Fortress, defended from the Nazis for a full month before falling.

After lunch we drive to Lviv.
Stay in Lviv.
 

Day5

Sightseeing Lviv – Free time
Breakfast.

A walk around medieval Lviv. You’ll see many unique cathedrals, churches and a chapel with the sitting Jesus Christ on the top, which is the only one in Europe! We will visit the place wherethe first kerosene lamps were made. It is a cafe now, called “Kerosene lamp”. You will see splendid views of the city and suburbs from the top of the City Hall.

Day6

Sightseeing Lviv – Free time
Breakfast.
Continue touring Lviv.

Today you’ll walk around Austrian and Polish Lviv. You’ll listen to the stories of Austrian and Polish Lviv, about it’s public, political and cultural life, development of science, technologies, trade,education, it’s dwelling and traditions. You will listen to the stories about the first cars, airplanes, trams and trains an Lviv.
You will see Lviv State university and Lviv Politechnics, visit Lychakiv cemetery, where the most outstanding people of Lviv, Ukraine and Europe are burried – public and political leaders, militerymen, artists, sculptors, poets, singers, scientists, writers. See the wonderful monuments and tombstones, which has become the masterpieces of architecture! And of course you will find out about the stories of Lviv of the 20-th century, about the period of soviet invasion and power.

Now it’s time for lunch.

After lunch we are visiting Shevchenkivsky Gay – the Museum of folk architecture and rural life. You will see the wooden folk architecture, everyday life artifacts, art artifacts from all ethnographic zones. Every zone consist different objects – buildings, practical and manufactory buildings from last three centuries. The museum is one of the biggest open-air museum in Europe nowadays!

Day7

Lviv – Bukovel
Breakfast.
Check-out.

In the morning we drive to Bukovel! Visiting the museum of Hutsul Everyday Life where you will find out about the traditions, culture, songs, life and many other including tasting Hutsul traditional homemade cuisine!

Day8

Bukovel – Chernivsti – Kamianets-Podilskyi
Breakfast in the hotel.

In the morning we take a jeep tour to the top of the mountains! Powerful cars will provide plenty of excitement! Then we drive to Chernivtsi, will have lunch and you will discover the history of this city which is situated on the spot where the roads of Europe and Asia cross each other. Continue to Kamianets-Podilskyi.

Kamianets-Podilskyi– Khotin fortress – Free time
Breakfast in the hotel.

You will walk around the ancient city center and will visit the old fortress. Uniquely beautiful, the castleopens windows onto the history and drama of life in this former border town. After lunch we go to in Khotin fortress, a dramatic spot popular with photographers.

Day10

Kamianets-Podilskyi– Chisinau
Breakfast.
Check-out.

We drive to Chisinau, Moldova. And after lunch we discover the city – you will see both the historic and the modern faces of Chisinau. Well-known architects and poets such as Bernardazzi, Sciusev and Pushkin gave Chisinau a unique character. The local guide will tell you interesting facts about the country and its capital.

Day11

Chisinau – Transnistria – Odessa
Breakfast.
Check-out.

In the morning we are going to explore the Cricova Winery. It is Moldova’s premier winery and one of Europe’s biggest. Wine tasting 4 types of wine.

Continue our tour to Transnistria.

Sightseeing in Tiraspol – Back in USSR: Feel the atmosphere of this disputed territory which always has been a battlefield between the major powers of the region. The buildings of the Soviets, the monument of Suvorov and Vladimir Ilich Lenin. The city seems to be behind the times. At the same time, it is full of contrasts.

After the tour we drive to Odessa.

Day12

Odessa Sightseeing and Free time

Walking tour around downtown of Odessa.

During the tour you will have an opportunity to visit historical places, take a walk through age-old streets: Deribasovskaya, Pushkinskaya, Rishelievskaya and Landzheronovskaya. You will see masterpieces of architecture and art of buildings – Opera and Ballet Theatre, and also historical buildings, where the archeological and marine museums are situated. Strolling along the Primorsky Boulvard it’s your chance to see an ancient building of municipal Duma, count Vorontsov palace with colonnades, the monument to Duke de Richelieu and the famous Potemkin stairs. They are the main entrance to Primorsky Boulvard from the seaside from where the fascinating view to the marine terminal and the seaport is opened.

Optional – tour to Odessa catacombs.

Odessa catacombs are one of the longest in the world (total length of catacombs is 2500 km). They are longer than Paris and Rome catacombs in several times! So far, there are no accurate maps of the tunnels, the researchers say that the secret of catacombs has not been disclosed till nowadays! On this tour you will find out about many things: it is the history of the appearance of the catacombs, directly related to the history of Odessa; and about the heroism of Odessa citizens during The World War II: partisans were located in the catacombs at that time who provided decent resistance to the Nazis.

Odessa – Military Base – Kyiv

We drive to Kyiv with a stop on the way: visiting a Cold War era nuclear missile base.
You’ll walk down a 150 meter long underground corridor and take a lift 12 floors down to the “Red” button of the Unified Launch Control Center…

Day14

Kyiv Sightseeing and Free time
Breakfast.

After a good breakfast it’s time to tour the city!
During our walk you will discover American long mile or Kyiv Broad Way. You will appear in the peace of Paris in Kyiv and will get acquainted with Kyiv Gaudi and his tremendous creation- House of Advertisement! You will love to see House of a crying widow, Chocolate House and Red Castle, stone jungles and many others! his day we will see the first fountain and talisman for Kyiv dwellers, a real pearl of Ukrainian baroque – Saint Andrew Church, Richard the Lion Heart castle and the area of dead project, Kyiv Acropolis. Also, we will cross a triangle of wishes and meet a monument to the Many-Faced –God and a lot of other catching sights.

Feeling hungry but happy we are going to have a delicious lunch at another Ukrainian restaurant! Yes, yes, Ukrainian dishes will fascinate you ;)

After lunch we are going to visit Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra – the most ancient Monastery of Kyivan Rus, it is inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. While being a cultural attraction – it’s one of the largest Ukrainian museums in Kyiv – the monastery is currently active. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the caves of the Lavra.

Back to the hotel.
And now you have some free time to have a rest.

Version 1. Optional – group tour to Chornobyl for the whole day.

Chornobyl  is the most famous Ukrainian phenomenon. The Chornobyl Disaster has changed the trajectory of our civilization development, it is the most evident contribution of Ukraine into the global history.
The Chornobyl Zone with the nuclear power plant (NPP) and an abandoned ghost town of Pripyat – like a time machine, You will see the events past and realize how both history and nature works.

Version 2.

After breakfast tour to the Motherland Statue – now a symbol and a visiting card of Kyiv,it is higher than the well-known Liberty Statue in New York! Inside there is a museum of WWII which we are visiting as well. Then you will be taken to the ancient times – The Kyivan Rus Park which is not only the museum but it is a whole different world you can visit! Ancient Kyiv in “The Kyivan Rus Park” is a unique reconstruction of one of the most famous and at the same time the most mysterious medieval city of the Eastern Europe – Ancient Kyiv of the V-XIII centuries, the capital of the greatest country – Kyivan Rus. You will feel what it’s like to be in person as a part of Ancient Kyiv – the source of culture and nationhood of Ukraine in particularly and countries of Easter Europe in general, the cradle of one of ancient world civilizations that played the key part in the development of humanity!

Breakfast.
